Embedded below is a video of a variety of NBA players shot-faking their defender, but staying behind the 3-point line with their dribble to shoot a 3-pointer. As teams have come to understand the value of the 3 and defenses work to take them away, coaches are instructing their players to fly at shooters rather than perform a traditional closeout. This shot is a response to that technique. However, it is certainly not for everyone.
