I enjoyed this story on New York Jets coach Todd Bowles and the variety of ways he was influenced by the coaches he played for and worked under. Really cool how the writer broke down the different things Bowles picked up from Joe Gibbs, Bill Parcells and Bruce Arians. Bowles is clearly a culmination of his experiences as a player, an assistant coach and his short stint as an interim head coach (with the Dolphins in 2011).
Another piece on Bowles that I really liked that touched on a similar subject can be found here.
