The Army West Point men’s basketball team rallied from a 19-point second-half deficit to defeat Lafayette, 81-71, at Christl Arena on Thursday afternoon. After seeing the 17-point halftime deficit stretched to 19 in the early moments of the second half, the Black Knights outscored the Leopards 55-26 over the final 20 minutes. Head coach Jimmy Allen made the proper adjustments during halftime, instructing Army to its largest single-half point total of the season (and the third time this year that the Black Knights have score 50+ in a half). The win moves Army’s conference record to 3-2 with the team heading to Annapolis to play archrival Navy on Sunday.
