I’m a huge fan of Western Michigan football coach P.J. Fleck and love studying the culture he has built in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Fleck has built his program around the concept of F.A.M.I.L.Y. (Forget About Me, I Love You). Linked below is a great article where Fleck lists three lessons he learned in turning around the Western Michigan program.
“In the middle of a turnaround for a program, you have to stay the course and ignore the urge to change strategy,” said Fleck. “Remember to trust and stick to YOUR plan, no matter what.”
