Reconstructing a Jump Shot

By now you’re most likely familiar with the story of how Kawhi Leonard’s shot reconstruction. Back in 2011, with the NBA lockout looming on July 1, the Spurs hurriedly signed Kawhi Leonard and ushered him to the gym for four days to work with legendary shooting coach Chip Engelland. Below is a litany of articles on the adjustments Leonard made (note the gif above) with Engelland’s guidance along with a document of my favorite quotes about the process.
