Tom Izzo: HOF Class of 2016

2016 Basketball Hall of Fame Enshrinement Ceremony
With Tom Izzo going into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame on Friday, there were several terrific articles that came out detailing the legendary coach’s career. Denver Nuggets guard Gary Harris described what it’s like to play for Izzo while Indiana’s Tom Crean described what it was like to work for him. ESPN’s Dana O’Neil wrote about the 10 steps that led Tom Izzo to his Springfield enshrinement. My favorite Izzo article came from the Lansing State Journal’s Graham Couch who wrote of how Izzo’s coaching philosophies were hardened during his first two years as head coach (MSU didn’t make the NCAAs until his third season). Mike DeCourcey (Sporting News) wrote about the challenges that still drive the Hall of Fame coach.
